This five-day Oracle Inventory Management Fundamentals R12.x course provides learners with an understanding of the concepts and usage of Oracle Inventory in the Oracle E-Business Suite. It introduces learners to various aspects such as managing item master data, sub-inventories and transactions, transactions of transactions across multiple organizations and locators, replenishment transactions, inventory adjustments and Transactions along with Oracle Bills of Material. It enables learners to master the concepts associated with the Multi-org Architecture, the Cycle Counting Process, System Setup and Transaction Flow in Oracle Inventory. It explores the use of several reports available in Oracle Inventory to assist users in making data-driven decisions and reports.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be equipped with:
• Understanding of the fundamentals of Oracle Inventory Management
• Knowledge of Multi-Org architecture, cycle counting process and system setups
• Ability to create and manage item master data, sub-inventories and transactions
• Familiarity with replenishment transactions, inventory adjustments and transactions
• Knowledge of how to use Oracle Bills of Material
• Ability to generate, interpret and act upon various inventory-related reports
• Understanding of how to use Oracle Work in Process application and its interface with Oracle Inventory
