The PMI-ACP® certification is a globally recognized credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) that recognizes knowledge of Agile principles and familiarity with an Agile approach to project management. This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of Agile and its core principles as well as an in-depth comprehension of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certification requirements. The course provides comprehensive training on the Agile body of knowledge and prepares the participants to take the PMI-ACP® (Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner) certification exam.
The course starts by introducing a framework for Agile and how it is used in projects, following with an overview of different processes so the participants get familiar with the Iterative and Incremental lifecycle as well as with Agile approaches like Scrum, XP and Lean.

Course Prerequisites


PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® training does not require any specific prerequisites for enrolling in the course. However, it is recommended that course participants have prior experience in working in project teams and knowledge of Agile principles. They should also be familiar with the Agile Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Additionally, candidates should have experience working with one or more of the popular Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP.

The cost of the PMI-ACP certification exam for PMI members is USD 435, and for Non-Members, it is USD 495.

No, the course fee does not include the PMI-ACP Certification Exam fee. The PMI-ACP exam can be taken after submitting your work experience and 21 PDUs/contact hours certificate on the PMI website. Upon submitting all the documents required by the PMI, you will receive the exam voucher, which will be valid for 1 year. The PMI-ACP certification exam can be taken at the nearest Pearson Vue center.

PMI will provide you 90 days to complete your PMI-ACP application form. If PMI selects your application for an audit, you will have 90 days to send your audit materials. PMI will then take 5-7 days to process your audit materials.

You will be able to take up the PMI-ACP exam 3 times a year after your application has been approved. There are no free re-takes for the PMI-ACP Exam. You have to pay every time you re-take a PMI-ACP exam.
Your PMI-ACP Certification is valid for three years. You need to earn 30 PDUs within three years for your PMI-ACP certification to be valid. After gaining 30 PDUs, you need to submit the same on the PMI website with a renewal fee.
