The Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 course is designed to provide students with the necessary tools and knowledge to design, implement, and manage a data warehouse framework using SQL Server. Through this course, students will learn how to design data marts, tables, and cubes, as well as how to optimize the data loading process and query responses. In addition, students will develop the skills needed to create ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
This course will enable participants to create their own data warehouse using best practices, good design principles, and a set of ready-to-go best practices templates. Participants will learn how to create data warehouses from both from scratch and from an existing database. They will also learn how to troubleshoot and optimize data loading and query performance, as well as how to troubleshoot and tune common performance issues. Additionally, participants will learn techniques for creating an optimized data warehouse architecture that meets the needs of the business. At the end of the course, participants will be able to design, implement, and manage a successful data warehouse solution.
