Course Prerequisites

To ensure that participants are well-prepared to undertake training in the ISO 45001 Lead Auditor course and to maximize the benefits of this learning experience, the following minimum prerequisites are recommended:


  • Basic understanding of occupational health and safety concepts and the importance of an OHSMS.
  • Knowledge of the key principles and practices of effective auditing techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 or equivalent OHSMS standards and the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system.
  • Experience in occupational health and safety management, either in implementation or as part of an OHS team, is beneficial but not strictly necessary.
