The Virtual Reality with Unity Engine, Google Cardboard, and Oculus Rift course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive overview and understanding of virtual reality, exploring the capabilities of modern platforms and development engines such as Unity’s unified game engine, Google’s Cardboard device, and Oculus’ Rift headset.
This course is designed for people who have a basic understanding of game engines and programming, and want to get started with VR (Virtual Reality). You will learn the fundamentals of using Unity’s unified game engine, setting up a new project, building a basic scene, and incorporating eye tracking and motion tracking. You will also explore how to work with Google’s Cardboard device and how to build projects to deploy to GearVR, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
Throughout the course, students will work on hands-on examples, assignments, and projects to develop VR experiences. They will receive feedback on the coding and user interface design decisions they made through contextualized critiques. By the end of the course, students should feel confident in their ability to create basic VR experiences for the three platforms.
This is a Rare Course and it can be take up to 3 weeks to arrange the training.
