The ForgeRock Identity Management Core Concepts (IDM-400) course provides in-depth training on managing user identities, lifecycle, and services using ForgeRock IDM. This course equips learners with the skills to install, configure, and manage IDM solutions effectively, focusing on real-world scenarios and problem-solving techniques.

Starting with an introduction to IDM and exploring the ForgeRock ecosystem, participants will learn how to install IDM and handle project deployment and management. They will delve into enabling user registration and self-service, which includes configuring default processes, self-service options, and delegating administration privileges.

The course progresses to social registration and authentication, teaching how to integrate social identity providers and connect IDM with the broader ForgeRock Identity Platform. Learners will also become adept at managing synchronization and reconciliation, including using REST interfaces and OpenICF connectors, and handling role-based provisioning.

Privacy and consent management is another key component, where privacy and consent configurations are covered along with progressive profiling and user preferences. Additionally, students will explore how to manage relationships between objects, model complex relationships, and optionally manage devices and things within IDM.

Lastly, the course introduces workflow deployment and creation, enabling learners to deploy and start a workflow as well as create custom workflows, thereby rounding out a comprehensive skill set in identity management with ForgeRock's IDM.
