You’ll learn how to create and optimize prompts for a variety of generative AI models. First, we’ll cover the basics of foundation models. We’ll go into a little more detail on a subset of foundation models called large language models. Then, we cover the basic concepts of prompt engineering, such as the different elements of a prompt and some general best practices for using prompts effectively. Next, we dive into examples of basic prompt techniques including zero-shot, few-shot, and chain-of-thought prompting. In these sections, you will learn principles, techniques, and best practices for designing effective prompts.
