System Center 2012 Orchestrator Course Overview

The System Center 2012 Orchestrator course is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the Automation platform within the System Center suite. It teaches how to simplify Data center management by automating repetitive tasks and Orchestrating complex workflows across hardware and software components.

Starting with Module 1, students receive a historical perspective on the evolution of System Center, an overview of the various components in the suite, an introduction to Licensing, ITIL, MOF, and a deep dive into the Orchestrator component itself. As the course progresses through subsequent modules, learners will be guided through Deployment considerations, Runbook configuration, Advanced runbook design, and Integration packs. They will also learn about Reporting using PowerPivot and administration, management, and Extensibility of Orchestrator. Finally, the optional Module 7 provides practical experience with System Center integration.
