The HCIA-Access course is a comprehensive training program designed to equip learners with a deep understanding of access network technologies and their evolution. It covers various modules from the basics of network communication to the principles of advanced access technologies such as GPON and xDSL. Throughout the course, participants will delve into the PON system, explore VLAN technology, and understand routing fundamentals. They will also gain hands-on experience with GPON OLT and ONU operations, and learn about network management systems (NMS) such as eSight and iManager U2000.
Learners will benefit from practical insights into configuring data services, understanding DHCP and PPPoE protocols, and maintaining optical distribution networks (ODN). The course will also guide them through the transition from GPON to XG(S)-PON, highlighting the technical principles and typical networking scenarios. By completing the HCIA-Access course, participants will be well-prepared to design, implement, and manage modern access networks, paving the way for a successful career in the field of network engineering.
