Commercial and Contract Management is a course of study designed to help individuals understand the fundamentals of managing commercial and contractual issues in a business context. The aim of this program is to develop the knowledge base of the individual, so that they can effectively manage and negotiate commercial arrangements, both internally and externally.
This course covers an array of topics and areas, including commercial and legal principles, pricing strategies, cost management, contract terms, risk management, conflict resolution, customer service and dispute resolution. In addition to understanding the principles, the individual will gain practical experience through the use of contract performance management tools that enable them to analyze pricing data, analyze cost information, develop strategies for contract improvement, and implement those strategies in practice.
By the end of the program, participants will have an understanding of the legal and commercial principles related to contract management and will be able to effectively implement and manage successful contracts. They will also have the knowledge and skills to negotiate contract terms, develop policies and procedures for contract enforcement, and generally keep their customers and business partners informed about their contractual obligations. Course Prerequisites
