Architecting with Google Cloud Platform: Design and Process is an introductory course designed to help you understand Google Cloud Platform and its features. It will help you to become familiar with the concepts and processes that are essential for designing, deploying, and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
This course will also provide an introduction to Cloud Storage, load balancers, networks and other services available in the Google Cloud Platform. You will also gain an understanding of how to use Google Cloud Platform for application deployment and optimization.
This course will provide an overview of the serverless application model that is emerging in the cloud computing industry. This model is becoming popular because it allows the user to focus exclusively on the application development and not worry about maintaining the infrastructure.
This course will also provide an overview of Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Dataflow, and other available services used to manage and store data. It will also introduce you to Google Cloud Platform’s Security, networking and authentication/authorization services. Finally, it will provide an understanding of the available monitoring and logging services available on the Google Cloud Platform.
In this course, you’ll gain the essential knowledge and skills required to design and deploy applications on the Google Cloud Platform. You’ll learn how to use important services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Dataflow, as well as how to manage serverless applications. You’ll also become familiar with the various security and networking services available on the Google Cloud Platform, such as Firewall Rules, Compute Engine Networking, Access Control Lists, and Identity and Access Management. Finally, you’ll understand how to use the available monitoring and logging services for monitoring your application and gaining insights into usage patterns.
