The 55069-A: PowerShell for SQL Server Administrators course provides an intensive and comprehensive set of courses to help SQL Server administrators master the fundamentals of PowerShell for administration and automation on the SQL Server platform.
This five–day (40-hour) instructor-led course provides students with the requisite knowledge to automate SQL Server tasks. The course is intended for IT Professionals who are interested in automating and managing SQL Server workloads. The course will cover key PowerShell concepts and the PowerShell syntax of language elements. It will also demonstrate how to use PowerShell to interact with SMO to automate and manage a SQL Server infrastructure.
Students will learn how to:

• Navigate the Windows PowerShell environment
• Manage the SQL Server security using PowerShell
• Manage SQL Server objects using PowerShell

This course is intended for IT professionals such as database administrators, system engineers, system analysts, and system administrators who have a basic understanding of PowerShell and need to learn a more robust usage of PowerShell for managing and automating tasks on the SQL Server platform.
