10975-A: Introduction to Programming is an introductory-level course designed to provide students with an overview of the fundamentals of programming using a modern object-oriented language. The goal of this course is to provide students with the foundation necessary to understand and write simple and complex programs. Topics covered in the course include the principles of object-oriented programming, variables and data types, control structures, functions, classes, strings and arrays, and debugging. By the end of the course, students should be able to create and debug programs and understand the building blocks found in all computer applications.
