Everything you need to know about Forescout certification training with Koenig Solutions.

Forescout certification training validates expertise in deploying and managing the Forescout Platform for network security and IoT/OT visibility. Koenig Solutions is not currently listed as a Forescout Authorized Training Partner (ATP), which are the only entities authorized to deliver official Forescout certification training.
Koenig currently does not offer training for any Forescout certifications, including FSCA (Forescout Certified Associate), FSCP (Forescout Certified Professional), FSCE (Forescout Certified Expert), or their OT/ICS variants. Training is delivered through Forescout’s official ATP program.
Forescout training is designed for IT and cybersecurity professionals responsible for network security, IoT, and OT environments. The FSCA requires foundational knowledge, FSCP recommends prior FSCA certification, and FSCE mandates both FSCA and FSAA certifications as prerequisites.
The Forescout Certified Associate (FSCA) has no formal prerequisites. The Forescout Certified Professional (FSCP) is recommended after FSCA. The Forescout Certified Expert (FSCE) requires completion of both FSCA and FSAA certifications before enrollment.
The FSCA and FSCP exams are 120-minute online written tests, while the FSCE is an 8-hour hands-on practical exam with a passing score of 80%. Exam vouchers are typically included in authorized training packages, such as FS-TRNG-ADMIN-NAM-01.
Forescout courses range from 3 to 5 days, including 4-day FSCA and FSCP, and a 5-day FSCE boot camp. Koenig currently offers no Forescout courses, but official delivery formats include virtual instructor-led, onsite, and classroom training through ATPs.
Koenig does not currently offer Forescout training, so no pricing is available. Official Forescout training, such as the 4-day FSCA course (FS-TRNG-ADMIN-NAM-01), includes the certification exam and hands-on labs, with pricing available through Forescout or its ATPs.
The Forescout Certified Expert (FSCE) exam costs $2,500 as a standalone purchase (part number FS-TRNG-CERT-FSCE). For associate and professional levels, exam fees are typically bundled into training packages and not sold separately.
Forescout certification validates specialized skills in network access control and IoT/OT security, which are critical in enterprise cybersecurity roles. Certified professionals, especially FSCE holders, often qualify for senior security engineer or architect roles, with certified network security professionals earning up to $120,000 annually in the US.
Koenig currently does not deliver Forescout training for enterprise teams, as it is not a Forescout Authorized Training Partner. Enterprises should engage with official ATPs for private batches, onsite delivery, or volume pricing options.
Forescout does not publicly state a policy on accepting third-party training credits. Training enrollment is managed through the Forescout Academy or Authorized Training Partners, with pricing typically handled via direct purchase or corporate agreements.
Forescout certification includes access to hands-on labs during training. Certified individuals gain access to advanced eLearning content in the Forescout Academy, which is part of the premium entitlement and unlocked upon achieving certification levels.
