Autonomous Systems are self-governing networks or platforms designed to operate with minimal human intervention, published by organizations such as ITU-T and implemented across telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, and transportation. They solve the challenge of managing complex, dynamic environments through automation, AI-driven decision-making, and real-time adaptation. Within the vendor stack, Autonomous Systems integrate with underlying network or cloud infrastructures to enable self-configuration, self-optimization, and self-healing capabilities.
