At Koenig, you can train for Vectorworks Core Associate Certification (exam code VW-CA-2024), Vectorworks Architect Professional Certification, Vectorworks Landmark Professional Certification, and Vectorworks Spotlight Professional Certification. Each aligns with industry-specific workflows and validates proficiency in respective domains. Training includes official courseware and exam prep.
Vectorworks certification training is for architects, landscape designers, entertainment designers, and AEC professionals seeking to validate design software expertise. It serves intermediate users with foundational skills, including designers, drafters, and BIM coordinators. The Core Associate level suits beginners, while Professional certifications target experienced practitioners in architecture, landscape, and live event design.
The Vectorworks Core Associate Certification requires familiarity with the interface, tools, and document organization. For Professional certifications, candidates should be proficient in core Vectorworks tools and workflows; completing the Core Associate Certification is strongly recommended. A licensed copy of Vectorworks 2023 or newer is required for hands-on practice and exam preparation.
Vectorworks exams are multiple-choice: 50 questions in 2 hours for Architect and Landmark (80% passing), 75 questions in 3 hours for Spotlight (80% passing). The Core Associate exam requires 80% to pass. Exam vouchers are included in Koenig’s training packages. Candidates may retake the exam up to three times.
Vectorworks courses range from 12 to 20 hours, delivered over 4 days for live classes or self-paced on-demand. Koenig offers live online instructor-led, 1-on-1, private batch, classroom, and Fly-Me-a-Trainer (on-site) formats. All public batches are Guaranteed-to-Run, with access to session recordings for 6 months.
Vectorworks training at Koenig starts at $249 USD for on-demand courses and $700 USD for live instructor-led classes. Pricing includes official courseware, hands-on labs, exam voucher, and 6 months of session recordings. Bundled packages cover full certification prep with expert instruction and exam registration.
The Vectorworks exam fee is included in Koenig’s training packages and is not charged separately. Individual exam registration through Vectorworks University costs $249 USD for Professional certifications. The Core Associate exam has no standalone fee when taken through authorized training providers.
