The validity period of PMP Training Certification is for three years and your job to renew the certification starts immediately when you receive the same. The Project Management Institute (PMI) keeps auditing the PMP applications to maintain the integrity of the certification process. These audits are not done on all the applications but for a certain percentage of the applications received which is determined by PMI.
