This certification is for enterprise architects responsible for architecting and designing Java EE compliant applications.
This exam is designed for candidates with experience (typically 5 or more years) in the following areas: Application design: concepts and principles, common architectures, integration and messaging, business-tier technologies, web-tier technologies, Java EE technology, patterns and security.
To achieve this certification, candidates must successfully complete three stages: a multiple choice exam, an assignment and an essay exam.
Topics covered in this course are: Application Design Concepts and Principles. Common Architectures, Integration and Messaging, Business Tier Technologies, Web Tier Technologies, Applicability of Java EE Technology, Patterns, Security.
The Koenig course will prepare you for the multiple choice exam and includes ONLY guidance to submit a successful assignment. After successfully completing the assignment, you have to answer questions related to your assignment (called the essay – type exam).

OCP-JP is a prerequisite for OCP-JWS, OCP-BCD, OCP-WCD, OCM-JD and OCP-MAD. OCM-EA has no prerequisite. OCA-JAVA is not a prerequisite for OCP-JP
