 “Namaste” first Hindi word I learnt during my stay in Goa, it means “Greetings”. My name is Mohammad Samir Abubaker, I am a Web Administrator working in Abuja Nigeria. I came across Koenig-Solutions while searching for ASP.Net courses through the internet. Koenig’s affordable prices and flexible training options caught my interest instantly; what’s more, I had recently seen a TV commercial about holiday in Goa. My great opportunity to be a certified MCPD web developer and a tourist all in one was stating me in the face. YIPEE!!!
The Weather in Goa was just perfect, coming from a temperate region I had no problem adjusting, I checked up the weather forecast before coming so I knew what to expect. I would recommend arranging pickup from the airport and also your hotel or apartment stay through Koenig. I had no worries at all; the Koenig driver was on time and took me to the budget apartment “Vista Millennium Model”, it’s decent and provides a good study atmosphere, you should expect occasional power outages, but it’s usually for a very short time.
On to the serious part, IT Training and certification, Koenig is definitely the place to be, the staff are warm and friendly people, they are very dedicated and professional at what they do. Over the few weeks of my stay in Goa, I felt at home and got to meet other students and make quite a few friends. It a place to make good contacts, you meet both professional and beginners in the IT industry.
My tutor was exceptionally good, very resourceful and knew the topics like the back of his hands. A few words to beginners that want to a course, check the prerequisites for the programme you wish to take and opt for training in the prerequisites before taking the certification course else you may find it a bit difficult to cope. The training is quite intense and you have to work extra hard, you get Sundays off to unwind.
If you wish to eat out or go site seeing, the staff at Koenig and the drivers can recommend a few place, its best to go in a group. Generally students tend to organize dinner trips or a trip to the beach or some of the numerous events going on. Make sure you have something in hand for allergies; I did react to some of the spices and nuts in the food, but was nothing too serious.
All in all, I am quite satisfied with the training course and my stay in Goa, I hopefully will come back for another training and I recommend it to anyone seeking to get IT training and certification, you get your money’s worth. |
