On this page we feature students who are either currently attending or recently attended a Boot Camp at Koenig. We encourage them to share their experiences in India with their friends across the world. If you are planning to join a Boot Camp at Koenig, you will find this section interesting. And, of course, you can hope to be featured here soon !!!
31 of December 2005 I arrived at Delhi airport where a nice gentleman was waiting to bring me to the Hotel. The gentleman's name was Arjun and I can tell you that I was happy that he was there. I would have felt completely lost if I had to arrange the transportation to the hotel myself as the amount of people outside the airport was enormous. Before I noticed people already grabbed my suitcase to help carrying them to the car. Originally I am from Holland and living in the UK for two years now. Holland counts 16 million people whilst Delhi is good for 18 million people. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all that traffic and was hitting the deck for a possible accident which of course never happened. There was one thing that I quickly understood, these people where absolute masters in traffic.
That same evening I heard some music from the 5 star hotel across the street. As I did not wanted to spend New Years Eve on my hotel room I took a gamble and got dressed in a nice suit. I went across the street to the hotel and climbed the stairs to the roof where the music was coming from. When I reached the destination a gentleman told me that this was a private party as people were married that day. Just when I thought how nice it would be to taste the Indian culture (what's better then been a guest at an Indian wedding) the gentleman noticed the disappointed and asked me if this was something I was looking for. I said yes and before I knew drinks were been served and I was dancing on the dance floor. An unforgettable experience
The MCSE 2003 training began at Monday and transportation was arranged to bring us to the training facility. When I walked up the stairs in the building I thought it's impossible that a training facility is situated in this building as the first two levels had no doors and no windows. Then I arrived at the 3rd level where people from all over the world were there for only one thing. Gaining more knowledge and getting those certificates as a reward for the hard work during the years. Fast track was no joke it was extremely hard work. Forget about life and anything else for that matter during those 25 days you won't have time for anything else.
But after those 25 days when you pass your 7th and final exam then it happens. Immense joy that you cracked that nut. The training at Koenig was very professional and our teacher knew exactly what she was doing. The service provided was of excellence. Any thing you need Koenig makes sure that you get the full support. I would recommend Koenig any time but Delhi might not be the ideal place for everyone. The pollution in Delhi is quite severe and it gave me a headache for a couple of days. You might be better of choosing Goa. It's a beautiful place and definitely worth the extra bugs. Most people I spoke to choose Delhi just as I did, because the beautiful beaches in Goa would probably cause too much distraction. If you don't trust your discipline choose Delhi otherwise I would recommend Goa.
I would like to thank Koenig and my instructor in special, for the fantastic time and the great support they have given me and other students. Next time I will make sure that my cricket skills are improved as we lost the match against the trainer's big time. Hope to meet you all next year.
