I'm a Network Engineer from Portugal and have been working in I.T. for 10 years mainly in networking and instructor roles.
As being a CCNA instructor and MCSE Trainer for nearly 4 years I had to upgrade my Cisco skills to a CCNP level, so I started looking for CCNP classes in my country and in UK and got shocked about the fees that some companies were asking for.
Likely by browsing in the Internet I found Koenig and got amazed with the fees that they were asking for and got enthusiastic about the idea of going to India to take my CCNP for half the fee and meeting another culture very different from our European.
I wrote them several e-mails asking a lot of questions and had all the times a very good feedback so I enrolled in the CCNP Boot Camp and made all my preparations to take off to this new adventure, I was a little apprehensive, ok a lot!!!
I arrived at Goa airport on 28 (Sunday) of May 2006 and had a guy from Fidalgo Hotel waiting for me, very friendly guy. I arrived at the Hotel and was very well received by the staff.
T his Hotel I recommend to all. Nice, big and clean bedrooms, three fantastic Restaurants were the food is amazing, I had all my dinner meals in the Hotel, never went outside to eat because this was the best. It also has a nice swimming pool and a good bar.
After sleeping for 18 hours in a row I went to Koenig where I met Maria, the responsible for Koenig in Goa. She was great, very friendly and professional, like all the staff that works there, all of them are great people and are always doing the best so you can feel comfortable and enjoy your classes.
From the Management staff to the lower staff I only have good things to say about them, thanks you all for giving me a very nice stay. .
My Trainer, was very knowledgeable and I learned quite a lot from him during my stay.
Also the facilities provided were good with clean classrooms and sufficient equipment. I must also mention again the service, Koenig go out of their way to make you feel at home, as most of the students are westerners they seem to have figured out what is needed to make them comfortable.
Don't expect to come here on Holidays, you have to study hard and prepare for the exams, so when you finish your boot camp take some days of before you go and enjoy the sun, fun and beaches of Goa, unfortunately I couldn't do that because my company only allowed me two weeks off.
Next year I will come back to do PIX and Checkpoint Boot Camps, to Goa of course.
I would like to thank Koenig Goa staff and my instructor, for the fantastic time and the great support they have given me. I will miss you all. |
