 Hello to you all, first of all I have visited Goa 4 times, so as you can see I like Goa. The people are very friendly and the food is very good, a lot of choice. It can be a bit of a culture shock, while you are entering into a different way of life, so be prepared for a busy environment, traffic do a lot of beeping of the horns, and it does not stop, but in saying that you do get used to it.
Now for the best part I found out of Training in Goa is about Koenig on the internet, I went to their web site and started looking at the courses available, and they do everything you need. So I emailed them with my first set of questions, following morning an email reply with the answers I needed, so after a couple of emails to sort out the details I booked my course for Comptia A+ in Panjim. I booked my own hotel as my wife came with me, so I combined a holiday and a course.
When I arrived at Koenig Centre in Goa i.e. in Panjim on my first day I was greeted with pleasant smiles and hellos from all of the staff, which was very nice as it was like a first day at school. After a brief session of paperwork I was introduced to my instructor, he had traveled from Delhi to be my instructor for my chosen course. He was a friendly chap.
Now for the training: I have been building Pc for about the last 15 years, usually build configure trouble shoot etc. so I thought I knew quite a lot, so I chose the A+, to build on what I already know. My instructor first asked about what I knew, then he taught me accordingly, the way he taught me was very good because at times I could not take in all of the information, or I did not understand a certain session, so he went back over it and explained things in terms I understood i.e. using the help of the pictures and examples, it was never too much trouble for him as he always explained with a smile.
My instructor explained everything to me references to my course, but then he would expand the information further so I gained a lot more knowledge which was very good for me. So I took the Comptia A+ essentials and Comptia A+ technician exams and passed both of them, I came to do the Comptia A+ and after coming here I have upgraded myself to N+ course also. So I am very pleased with the outcome and with Koenig.
And I would say to all of you out there who are thinking of doing a course on whatever course you choose give Koenig a go, I have gained a qualification and experience which will be with me for the rest of my life. |
