The first time to hear Koenig is when I went through the Document management System Application software (DMS) in our Organization. One of our colleagues had attended the course and it was documented on the DMS. So when I was given an opportunity to choose the course and the place to attain my course, my first thought was Koenig, of course with some other options. I went through the Koenig website and was impressed with the feedback I was given by their representative (Tanu). Well, it didn’t take many days to finalize the logistics and one of my job colleague (Kelvin Kiritta) come first to start his CCNA & MCSE. From the feedback I was receiving from him during the session, seems he enjoyed the course as he even managed to score 1000 on his CCNA.
I joined the course the following month after him finishing the course, arrived in New Delhi on 9th /March/2008 and starting the course on the following day. Honestly it was a good experience from airport to the hotel and the first day of my studies. I received a very good supportive from administration people. Then I met my trainer Deepak, well it was a bit tense for me on the first place as I never attended one on one class. We started the course by him asking me my knowledge level of programming and we start kick the lessons. As the days goes it’s where I found that things what I knew before were not enough, it was tough to some points but I was lucky to get an experienced trainer who from my opinion is a very good developer (I wonder why he is still in training industry, oops! Sorry Koenig it’s just my opinion). There was a time I thought I can’t cope with the pace of super fast track package. The good thing about my tutor is the fact that he was so open to me that the knowledge I had was not enough to choose the super track course. It was hard to swallow initially, but I took it in positive way, and he promised me that we will finish the course so I shouldn’t worry. That is what makes a good tutor (being honest with your student, spot his/her weakness and put it in point blank).
Well, I’m glad to finish the course with full satisfaction, now the challenge I’m facing is to put that knowledge into practice, I give my self at least one year of hard work to become at least half of what my trainer is right now (will I be able to get the job at Koenig as trainer after a year well, it’s a question we will see!……..I’m joking).
The time I had here was valuable with no regret; the only thing which I was disappointed was to be hit thrice by water balls while was crossing the streets but I bet this is not something to do with Discrimination. I enjoyed the Holy Day and it will remain as a good memory for quite a long.
I would like to reserve my Special appreciation to all Koenig’s staffs I had interact with. I’m going to be a good ambassador of the center and to some point I might come back again, who knows! |
