On this page we feature students who are either currently attending or recently attended a Boot Camp at Koenig. We encourage them to share their experiences in India with their friends across the world. If you are planning to join a Boot Camp at Koenig, you will find this section interesting. And, of course, you can hope to be featured here soon !!!
The flight took off from Male International on a fine morning (its was a sad moment for me to leave the sunny side of life and its tiny dots of Islands), had a transit stop at Colombo for couple hours and then I started towards my final destination which is known as the Walled City of India and it is known to be unique for the fine architecture of the mughals – New Delhi. During the approach I saw the city and what I saw was only moving lights. The aircraft touched down smoothly.
I was picked up and welcomed by the driver from Rangoli Park, I saw a happy smile on his face – he was shocked when I started speaking in
broken Hindi. Finally he said “Sahib aap ko to achaa hindi aathe hei”. The next morning I attended the Koenig Center at Moti Nagar and was greeted by a sweet and soft spoken lady who took me through the registration process. My training was only one of the many unique experiences I had in Delhi. The camp was attended by participants from all over the world. The feeling of unity was unbelievable. Now I have a network of friends spreading from Asia to Europe.
My fifty five days there was great. Our trainer is an extremely intelligent and knowledgeable individual and cannot really describe him in a few words. I understood the usually tough coursework quite effortlessly, thanks to him. The Manager of the Delhi Centre is an absolutely wonderful person. Whatever you need, she provides it as soon as possible. The Koenig family there is totally unique in their helpfulness.
Delhi is amazing. The Koenig institute organized tours to the various sights, sounds and tastes of the Indian culture. I had a chance to taste various Indian foods from the South to North Indian. We one day tour to Agra to see the symbol of love the Taj
Mahal, ridden on elephants from Koenig to Rangoli Park hotel, and the Tuc Tuc rides. We enjoyed the Delhi metro, and I will never forget our single journey guide from Italy. Who made us travel across the metro to reach our goal destination?
The traffic in Delhi is amazing. To drive in Delhi, all you need is 90% luck, 10% confidence and skill, you can say that all are qualified formula one driver! The only speed breakers are cows and buffaloes on the roads.
