This Specialist level course provides a thorough exposure to the CLARiiON CX4 series platform with Flare release 28.5 and Navisphere version 6.28. Focus areas include CLARiiON integration with Windows and Linux for both Fibre Channel and iSCSI. Other topics include Access Logix, Storage Provisioning and Management, Advanced Storage Pool and LUN concepts, Alerts and Event Monitoring, Navisphere Analyzer, and Navisphere Quality of Service Manager. The course is comprised of in-depth discussions and extensive hands on lab exercises.
SnapView Configuration & Management
This Specialist level course provides a thorough exposure to SnapView on the CLARiiON CX4 series platform with FLARE Release 28.5 and Navisphere Version 6.28. Focus areas include the use of local replicas in business environments, basic SnapView operating principles, and the differences between Snapshots and Clones. Other topics include Clone and Snapshot operations, the Clone Private LUNs, Reserved LUN Pool, and consistency operations. The course is comprised of in-depth discussions and extensive hands on lab exercises.
MirrorView & SAN Copy Configuration & Management
This Specialist level course provides a thorough exposure to SAN Copy and MirrorView on the CLARiiON CX4 series platform with FLARE Release 29 and Navisphere Version 6.29. Focus areas include the use of remote replicas in business environments, basic MirrorView and SAN Copy operating principles, and the differences between MirrorView/S and MirrorView/A, as well as between SAN Copy in Full Copy mode and Incremental mode. Other topics include MirrorView and SAN Copy operation, the Write Intent Logs, the Reserved LUN Pool, and Consistency Groups. The course is comprised of in-depth discussions and extensive hands on lab exercises.
