This course focuses on the configuration and management of the Celerra unified storage
platforms (NS-120, NS-480 and NS-960) for filesystem (NAS) and block (SAN) access using Celerra Manager and Navisphere Manager.
The block access sections of this course will cover the FLARE release 29 and Navisphere version 6.29. In addition, focus will be on integration with Windows and Linux, both Fibre Channel and iSCSI. Other topics will include Storage Provisioning and Management, Advanced Storage Pool and LUN concepts, Alerts and Event Monitoring.
The file access sections of this course will cover the Celerra platform. Content covered during this course will include the commonly used features using Celerra Manager. Management tasks (file system creation, export, permissions, security, and availability) for Celerra platforms in a Windows, UNIX environments are also covered. This course currently supports Celerra version 5.6.
This course is intended for any person who presently or plans to:
- Architects, manage, or positions solutions with CLARiiON storage
- Configures, manages, or architects EMC NAS solutions with EMC Celerra.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
