Let me take this moment to introduce myself, I’m Wilfried Ricardo Jantze employed as a Computer Technician at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Namibia.

I heard of Koenig Solutions from my supervisor at the Ministry where I work and was keen to find out what Koenig Solutions had to offer a young ambitious gentleman like myself.

I decided to opt for the Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Solaris 10 System Administration certification. In my view, this was my first step to not only have Windows certifications, but also compliment my IT career with some UNIX training and certifications as well.

I attended my Oracle Solaris training in New Delhi with an American classmate; we started off well and related to a couple of day-to-day experiences in our work places.

The trainer assigned to me was not only of the top shelf, but had extensive knowledge in the UNIX environment. His ability to explain arduous topics was off the charts, as he did it with patience and lucidity; and tried his utmost best to make it as simple as possible for us to grasp whatever we were discussing. I thought the “next-day-quick-revision” (that’s what I called) was quite pleasant, as we would use this opportunity to ask anything that was unclear (if there was any) the previous session. Not only did we have days of Solaris training, we also shared a few moments of laughter as my American counterpart was quite the comic. You know the saying: “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”.

While training for my Solaris certification, I was hosted at Koenig Inn. The service and hospitality of the Koenig Inn staff was absolutely far-fetched. The quality of food prepared by the in-house Koenig chef was really something to write back about, not to mention the staff that was responsible for the day-to-day running of the facility. I felt like a King (laughing) during my stay at Koenig Inn as the friendliness and diligence of the staff was just amazing.

Koenig Solutions has really surprised me with their customized hospitality “features”. You need your currency converted to Indian Rupees, you need a sim card to call to your family back home, or you’d like something from the Pharmacy, or maybe you’d like some talk time for your cellular phone, just give Koenig’s Centre Manager a ring and he will arrange it in minutes.

Thanks again Koenig Solutions, not only for the Solaris certification but also for experiences and individuals one gets to meet and befriend while at Koenig.

Finally I would like to thank my trainer not only for sharing his knowledge but also for his character and responsiveness. Special thanks also go out to my classmate Everett for the moments of laughter and experiences shared.

And yes, I will love to come back again. SOON…

Thank you
