Sumit Basra (United Kingdom), MCSE 2003 04 Jun to 27 Jun 2007

My name is Sumit Basra, I am a 21 year old graduate in Information Systems from London, U.K hoping to start my career as a systems engineer. I was enrolled on a 25 day fast track MCSE boot camp from 3rd June through to 25 th June 2007.

My story begins in early January. I was searching online for a suitable institute for attaining my MCSE and I came upon the Koenig Solutions website, needless to say I was impressed with what I saw. The facilities and prices looked great, even when compared to similar institutions across the world. I was somewhat wary about sending my money to a company in India, but my worries soon disappeared as I came into contact with the sales team through email and over the phone and got my grandparents who live in Delhi to check out the center.

As the start of my course drew closer I was becoming both anxious and excited, but when I arrived at the center I was pleasantly greeted by person (who works at the front desk) who passed me onto center manager, who sorted out all the necessary paperwork as well as my payment. I was then introduced to my trainer, after which 25 days of hard but rewarding work began.

There is only one word that described the staff at Koenig – Awesome. Everyone was friendly, helping me out whenever I needed assistance, they made my stay in India one to remember. Although I can speak Hindi, everyone spoke excellent English so communication was never a problem.

My trainer excelled at his job, which obviously made my boot camp a brilliant experience. He provided very well structured lessons, helped with my revision, which meant going through nine really thick books with me to prepare me fully for my exams, which I took every three days. The MCSE was demanding and required day and night studying, but it was well worth it.

The only problem I had with my stay in India was with the Hotel, having never stayed on my own before I found that I hated it. Luckily for me my grandparents lived about an hour away from the institute and without issue. The Concierge people allowed me to checkout from hotel and live with my grandparents. I was given a full refund for the hotel booking.

In conclusion my time with Koenig was part of my life that I will never forget. The people were a great help, the facilities top notch and I got to eat McDonalds every day. I’m certain that I will be returning next year to take addition courses.

For any potential visitors to Koenig Solutions I suggest the following, bring a laptop, book early, consider 1-on-1™ training and most importantly have fun!!!

keep up the good work and I’ll see you very soon.
