I’ve been an independent ERP consultant for more than 20 years, working with systems like SAP B1, MBS NAV and Visma. The 1st of November I’ve started in a new job at Intero AS in Norway as a Senior ERP Consultant. In my new position I will mainly work with Dynamics AX, and needed my Dynamics AX certifications to get started. Koenig Solutions could offer the right Dynamics AX certifications for me, perfectly scheduled only two weeks after my starting date at my new employer.
I received good information from Koenig before I left for India, and I was met at the airport by a friendly driver. The driver also handed me all necessary information, some rupees in cash and my studying material for the next day. I was booked in one of Koenig Student Apartments, and was met by a friendly and service minded caretaker. The apartment was of very good standards, and the caretaker made sure I had all necessities; he kept my room clean at all times, washed my clothes and made excellent food.
I received one-on-one training at Koenig which suited me perfectly. My trainer was very skilful and let me set the pace of the training. Since I have a long experience in accounting, Finance and ERP systems in general, we could focus deeper on the conceptual parts of the system during my AX 2009 Functional training, and the advanced configuration, rather than the accounting and finance basics. The training centre facilities were actually brand new. It was clean and comfortable with good air and lighting. The lunch arrangements were also very good.
Koenig offers a variety of services to their students, including Yoga sessions. I was set up with a Yoga trainer that came to my apartment after class. This is highly recommended, not only for the wealth of body and mind, but also for getting a chance experience a little bit of the exiting Indian culture. During my two weeks stay I managed to schedule one whole day of sightseeing and experienced fantastic sites like The Gate of India, The Parliament and The Humayun's tomb. I think it’s important to take some time during a stay like this to explore and understand the great and ancient Indian culture.
I passed my exams without any problems, and had a great experience visiting India and New Delhi for the first time.
