My previous two experiences were good. This CCNA Security course was exceptional. I believe that it is because I was prepared to learn and knew what to expect. If you are coming to Koenig-Dubai for the first time, try to familiarize yourself with the topics first. My instructor was very knowledgeable. I had an advantage in that I had taken the CompTIA Security+ three years ago and recertified my CCNA six months ago, also with a Koenig CCNA boot camp. I have been working on a LAN for the last 3½ years. My advice is to listen to your instructor without any pre-conceived expectations. Spend your free time and evenings on the practice tests. Your score on these practice tests will correlate closely to the score you make on the exam. If you get 90%+ then expect around 900+ on the exam. If you are in the 75% range then DO NOT take the exam as you will not pass. The instructors have been getting feedback as to the correlation for a lot of tests. If you need a boot camp, Koenig Solutions is the place to go.
- If this is your first cert or you feel real weak, forgo the night life. I got the material covered for my 5 day course in 3½ so I went to the movies. I am not a tourist so I stay away from the places that want tourist prices. I do go to the food courts at the Emirates and Dubai malls though. If you think you have seen a big mall, you need to go to the Dubai Mall. Over 1200 retail stores. The Emirates mall has several 3D theaters. If I had more time, I would take in the Camel races.
