My name is Antony and I live in Birmingham UK. For a few years I have wanted to get certified and improve my IT knowledge. A friend of mine spoke about going to India to do it, so we did a little investigating and found Koenig. Within 2 months we had our Visas and were booked up to go!

I managed to get a charter flight direct to Goa from Manchester. Very lucky as there were not many seats left. Arriving at Goa you feel the heat immediately. It felt great after the horrible winter we had in UK. The Koenig Driver was there waiting for me at the airport and we had a 20 minute drive to the Koenig Apartments. I must admit I wished it was longer being as it was my first time in India. The Koenig Apartments are 3 rooms with a shared kitchen. Nearly all rooms have a balcony and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The food was great thanks to Sanjay, who looked after us during the stay. The guy couldn’t do enough and it was much appreciated.

There was many interesting people studying during my stay and it felt just like an IT backpacker’s adventure. Studying was intense, (16 hours a day mostly), but after passing the 1st exam on a Thursday we headed off to Curly’s for a drink and a dance on the beach. (Recommended if you enjoy Trance) On our only day off on the Sunday we took a taxi for the day and headed off on a 2 hour trek to the jungle. Was an awesome day out and got to swim in a huge waterfall and feed monkeys.

The Training as I said was intense and you really need to put the hard work into it. If you are doing fast-track then make sure you know about the subject or at least do plenty of reading beforehand. The training centre itself was very well equipped and everybody there was great. Our tutor needed a sense of humour to teach the 3 of us and he sure did. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well indeed, Our Trainer was a Top Guy. Maria the manager was also very helpful in anything we needed and made us laugh lots.

Koenig are a very professional organization but also give that personal touch to help you through your stay. Having been in Goa for 2 weeks it has given me the taste for more and I will certainly be coming back in the future. The only thing I would do next time is have an extra week after the course to see more of this beautiful country. Great place great people!
