The course includes information and hands-on labs covering the deployment, configuration and maintenance of Oracle Applications components including Database, Client/Server, Web Server, Forms/Reports Configuration, Apache, Oracle eBusiness Suite, Self Service Technology, OA Framework, and Advanced Security. The course also covers third-party and open source tools such as ssh, Ant, and perl. Course topics are designed to help students gain the confidence and understanding necessary to successfully support Oracle Applications Release 12.2 in an enterprise environment.

1. Sound understanding of Database concepts as well as Applications concepts
2. Basic knowledge or experience with operating systems eg: Windows or UNIX and networking
3. Knowledge of Oracle Applications architecture and multi-tier technology
4. Knowledge and experience of Oracle Applications products such as E-Business Suite, Financials, HRMS, OPM, ASCP, Oracle CRM and Advanced Collections
5. Experience with the concurrent processing module of Oracle Applications
5. Understanding of web server applications such as Apache and OHS
6. Working knowledge of the Oracle Applications DBA Console
7. Understanding of Oracle Application system setup, security, patching, maintenance and troubleshooting
