The Cisco Prime Infrastructure course simplifies the management of wired and wireless networks. Two primary products integrated into the Prime Infrastructure include Prime LAN Management Solution (LMS) and Network Control System (NCS). The NMENPI training will teach you how to improve operational efficiency, eliminate/reduce errors through simple network management.
Some of the new features in Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2 includes; • New Wireless Support – This includes NBAR protocol pack update, IWAN support and configuration workflow, WLC 8.0, and Wireless AVC; • Operations Center – This new version has improvements in device and inventory grouping, network topology, job handling, virtual IP improvements amongst many other things; • Data Center Assurance – Effectively monitor faults and identify the main reason behind it, basic device management of Nexus 9000, and inventory support for UCS B and C
An interesting new change in the NMENPI v2.2 certification training is that Prime Infrastructure now supports native internet explorer browsers i.e. versions 10 and 11. It has a converged menu option now and there is no need to install additional Flash or Chrome plug-ins. Even the dashboard is neatly organized now and has become more user-friendly. You can easily access “topology” and “maps” from the top level and other options such as report, administration, configuration, and inventory are easily accessible.
