Course Prerequisites

The Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP-SEC) certification requires a valid, active Juniper Networks Certified Associate JNCIA-Junos certification. Candidates must also have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Junos software. It’s recommended that candidates have 6 to 12 months of field experience configuring and monitoring Juniper Networks routing and switching platforms. Familiarity with routing and switching protocols, security threats and mitigation techniques, and network services like DHCP, DNS and RADIUS is also helpful.
