What is Power BI?

Microsoft Power BI is a business analytics solution that provides tools to aggregate, analyse, visualise and share data. It is a collection of software services, applications and connectors that enable you to fetch coherent and interactive insights from your unrelated sources of data.

What is the use of Power BI?

The uses of Power BI include: 1. It allows asking questions in layman language and replies using the Q&A function. 2. Power BI enables users to create personalised dashboards allowing them to see all the data in a single view and monitor their most important data with the help of business applications. 3. Users build robust and reusable data models with the use of SQL Server analysis services on-premises and Azure analysis services in the cloud. 4. It provides the ability to connect to almost all applications or data sources, no matter where these resources exist – in the cloud or on-premises. Examples include Excel spreadsheets, Mail Chimp, GitHub, Share Point and Google Analytics. 5. Power BI doesn’t require much training. An API key is first created and plugged in the software. Power BI then easily integrates with Microsoft systems such as Office 365 and using it comes naturally to any user. 6.
