Shimla is Koenig's 2nd training centre (Delhi was the 1st). Shimla offers cool climate (Delhi can be quite hot in summers), small city ambience and scenic beauty.
Himalayas, the tallest mountain range in the world, are located in North India. Shimla is located in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2,100m (6,890 ft). Shimla enjoys pleasant temperature throughout the summer.
Shimla also has a historical past. Shimla was the “summer capital” of British India (pre-independence in 1947). Shimla has all modern amenities including Internet access. |

Students interested in attending a Boot Camp in Shimla, have to fly into Delhi and fly back from Delhi. Transportation to Shimla and back to Delhi is arranged by Koenig. The cost of this is included in the Boot Camp fee. |
If you opt for Boot Camp in Shimla, you have to arrive a day earlier. Also you fly out of Delhi a day later than students attending Boot Camps in Delhi.
On arrival, students stay for a night in Delhi. At the end of the Boot Camp, they are transported back to Delhi by train to catch their flight back home. If they wish, they can take a tour for going deeper into the Himalayas after completion of the Boot Camp. Our Concierge will be happy to advise about this.
There is now a convenient flight option from Delhi to Shimla. The flight leaves everyday from Delhi at check with Tanu7.20 hrs and arrives at Shimla at 8.40 hrs. You can opt to take the flying option at an additional cost of US$ 150. You can similarly fly from Shimla to Delhi on your return journey.
Koenig provides a complete solution, including airport pick-up, transport from Delhi to Shimla, Hotel, meals, local transportation. You just need to arrive at the Delhi airport (DEL) and we take care of the rest. All costs are included in our prices. |
