Koenig offers Official Red Hat training. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a leading certification for Linux network administrators who configure networking services and security on servers running a Red Hat Operating System.
RHCE is an advanced level Red Hat certification while RHCT is the entry level. Since the exam objectives of RHCT are a subset of RHCE, at present Red Hat India is not conducting a separate exam for RHCT. Only the RHCE exam is available. If you pass it half-way you get RHCT certificate.
Apart from high quality training with expert instructors, Koenig provides in-house testing facility for the RHCE/RHCT exam. RHCE/RHCT exam is conducted by a Red Hat Examiner. The RHCE/RHCT exam is scheduled at our training centre on the last day of the boot camp. In case you fail the exam, we can arrange a reattempt at another testing location (you might have to travel at an extra cost but Koenig will make all arrangements).
RHCE/RHCT is a gruelling exam and even candidates who possess adequate knowledge sometimes falter due to time deadline. Pass rate in the first attempt of is 80% and in the 2nd is 95%.
We recommend that you keep a few extra days to take the 2nd attempt (if required). This way you are assured of passing the RHCE/RHCT exam.

We provide training on the latest stable release RHEL 5 update 4. Red Hat has released RHEL 6 beta. Though RHCE/RHCT exam does not test knowledge of RHEL 6, we will provide information on new features of RHEL 6.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I use CentOS, the free version of RHEL instead of RHEL in the course?
Though CentOS is the same as RHEL, in the course we will use RHEL since the RHCE/RHCT exam is based upon RHEL. After doing RHCE/RHCT on RHEL, you will be able to use CentOS also.
RHEL 6 is now released. Will RHCE/RHCT qualification still be valid?
The current RHCE/RHCT (which is on RHEL 5) will be valid till release RHEL 7. RHEL 6 beta has been released. Though RHCE/RHCT exam does not test knowledge of RHEL 6, we will provide information on new features of RHEL 6.
