CCNA is the entry-level Cisco certification and serves as the foundation for CCNP and CCSP (as well as CCIP and CCVP) Certifications.
A CCNA candidate will achieve familiarity and expertise with Cisco's IOS, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN technologies and management, switching and routing protocols, the OSI model, LAN troubleshooting.
This module will certify that the candidate has the ability to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot various Cisco and networking devices.
MCSE and CCNA is a popular combination, as is MCSE and Citrix CCA.
If you are already an MCSE, consider combining CCNA and CCNP.
Cisco has recently announced a new version of its Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, along with a brand-new entry-level title, the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT).
The new CCNA exams have been "completely revamped" and will focus on a much broader range of technology.
The new CCNA is available in a one-exam format (a.k.a. "composite" format) and a two-exam option. Those who pass the first exam of the two-exams CCNA option will earn the CCENT title. The exams are :
• ICND1 640-822: CCNA Part 1/CCENT
• ICND2 640-816: CCNA Part 2
or
• CCNA 640-802: CCNA Composite
When you attend a CCNA Boot Camp at Koenig you have the option to take the one exam or the two exam approach. The Boot camp fee includes cost of one exam approach. If you wish to take 2 exams, you can do so by paying an addtional $50.
Koenig offers CCENT/CCNA Boot Camp in 3 different tracks and 4 different locations in India - Delhi, Dehradun, Himalaya Mountains (Shimla) and Goa Beach. To ascertain the right track for you, request for Knowledge Level Test .
The CCNA/CCENT Boot Camp Certification Training is held using real Cisco equipment. All equipment is present in the classroom. We do not use simulation software. Following equipment is available for the Cisco classes:
