Kim Zeevaarders from Netherlands for Multiple Java Boot Camp Training (SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD, SCDJWS) in Goa, 05th Oct. 2009 to 12th Nov. 2009

I came to Koenig to participate in Multiple Java certificate courses (SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD and SCDJWS). Even though I have been working with Java for quite some years now, it is always better if you can present some proof of your knowledge level in a certain technology. That was the main reason for me to do this course.

From all available locations that Koenig Solutions provided I chose Goa, because of the nice climate here and the relative quietness (compared to, for say, Delhi). It turned out to be a very good choice…

The accommodation where I stayed was a premium budget hotel called “Hotel Prainha” and it has been the ideal study environment for me. Nice and tidy rooms, very friendly personnel and only 10 meters from the beach (there was even an open-Air restaurant that’s directly next to the beach!). Also, because of the period I was there (Oct-Nov) there weren’t many people in the hotel so I could focus myself on my study entirely.

The Training centre was only a 10 minute drive from my hotel. Every day I was picked up according to a tight schedule. The training centre is exactly what you would expect from a training centre: lots of labs, an examination room and a joint lunch room where all students take their lunch. During the 6 weeks I’ve been here I saw a lot of people from all over the world: American, Swiss, Italian, Nigerian, Afghan, Danish, etc. I found it a nice experience to meet and see so many different cultures…

The course itself was pretty intense and you really have to study good to get all information processed. This depends, of course, also on the knowledge level of your instructor. I got very lucky with my instructor because I think he is one of the best trainers that Koenig Solutions provides. He spoke very good English, was always motivated and never got tired from my annoying questions. If you’re planning on doing a Java Training course, he’s the man you want.

The Koenig Solutions management was also very helpful and you can turn to them with all of your problems. They really try to make you entire stay as pleasant as possible.

All with all, I can really recommend Koenig Solutions to everyone who wants to get a certificate in a certain technology. There is not one thing that I can really be negative about!

I know for sure I’ll be coming back here…

Regards,
Kim
