My Name is Bola Taylor and I have been using Java Technologies for the last nine years but I felt the need to get updated in all Java Technologies and was seeking out UK based training schools for such opportunities. I couldn’t find any reasonable ones so I decided to look abroad. After using Google for a while, I came across Koenig Solutions in 2009 and made a decision to come to Koenig at any available opportunity. That opportunity came in August 2010.
I attended the Koenig Course for Java courses - SCJCP, SCWCD, SCBCD, SCJWS and Java Spring Training and I didn’t regret my decision to come to India. As discussed over the numerous emails between Nat Ford at the Koenig office in the UK, I was able to secure an Indian Visa in a few days as well purchase my ticket to India. A Koenig Driver was waiting for me at the airport as well as gave me all my books and dropped me at my student apartment. Koenig offered very good apartments and provided very good food. I was picked up each day, taken to class and returned each evening. All Drivers and caretakers were great!!!.
Since I was on a super fast track, I had three instructors to finish all the material within 40 Days. It was a challenge doing Monday to Sundays for some weeks but it paid off as all my instructors knew their stuff and I learnt a lot, refreshed my Java Knowledge and improved on my skills overall. I am pleased to say I passed all my Java exams is now fully Java Certified which was my primary goal. I feel my knowledge is a lot deeper in Java technologies overall.
In summary, Koenig solutions is a cost-effective and quick way of gaining knowledge and certification. The Boot camp is not a holiday so be prepared to work hard and also there is little time for tourism but I made sure I went out couple of times to Karol Bagh!!! On a personal note, India is generally a safe country and the people are welcoming and friendly. It is very crowded and busy. There is noise and traffic but the disorder of the traffic seems to have its own charm. Overall, I can now see why they call India incredible because it is!!!
Thank you Koenig for looking after me when I was 12500 km from home. You made me feel at home!
