I’ve wanted to get a MCSD certification for some time and after some research on the internet I found Koenig. I emailed Koenig and asked some questions and they replied promptly with the answers I was looking for. So I decided to give it a try. The package they were offering was quite attractive and at an affordable price.
I arrived in Delhi and there was someone there waiting to drive me to the hotel. I arrived in my hotel around 9 am so I missed the last cab to the training center but the hotel manager arranged for me to be picked up and brought to the training center.
Upon arriving and Koenig I was taken straight to office and she helped me get registered and then introduced me to my instructor. My instructor was extremely friendly and I felt at ease right away. We didn’t jump straight into the course, instead we just had a casual conversation for 15 to 20 minutes. He wanted to get to know me better first, to base his teaching methods according to me and my abilities. He told me that he wanted our sessions to be a two way system and encouraged me to ask questions all the time and give comments. Because of his vast experience in the field, he always reinforced his lessons with real life examples. Our class sessions weren’t all about books and studying. We often find ourselves deep in discussion in just about anything.
It is often said that you haven’t visited India if you haven’t visited the Taj Mahal so I just had to go. A group of us from the training center rented a large van and one Sunday morning we left for Agra, where the Taj is. The trip there alone was interesting and I couldn’t wait to see the Taj Mahal. It was simply amazing, incredible & breath taking. Pictures on a postcard doesn’t do it justice, you just have to see it for yourself.
My stay in Delhi was a pleasant one. The hotel in which I stayed was nice and clean, had all the basic necessities and the staff are all friendly, always made sure everything is ok. Another thing I really enjoyed about my experience in Koenig is that I get to meet a lot of people from around the world. From UK, Europe, Australia, USA, I’m sure there are more if I had bothered to ask. Between the daily cab rides to and from our hotels and lunch in the dining room we all became friends and some of us would just lab hop during our free time, going from one classroom to the next and just chat.
I went to get a certification but I left with a lot more. Worth the money? I think so.
