Oluwadamilola Awosika (United Kingdom), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) 02 May to 15 May 2008

I first came to know about koenig, via 2 work colleagues who had been to Koenig to do their certifications, and whom both of them had highly recommended koenig. Whilst looking for a place to do my CCNP, (I had already done the CCNP certs in 2001, but i didn't do the recert exam, thus losing he certifications, ) I came across Koenig again and after comparing the price at koenig, it was definitely a real bargain. sent emails to enquire and I received prompt responses to all my enquiries and email. To cut the long story short, after speaking to another student of koenig, I booked my flight, obtained my Visa and set out for India.

On arrival at the airport, I was met by Koenig staff, who took me to my hotel and also gave me a parcel containg vital information and a 1000 rupees. We get picked up to he trainng centre everyday, which makes life very easy. Koenig definately have everything organised to make ones stay very stress-free. Even to drinking water, they help provide by continually stocking up the fridge with bottled water.

I did the superfast track and my instructor, is very knowledgeable and definitely knows his stuff. He takes time to explain all the concepts and the labs were fantastic. He explained a concept that I had difficuly understanding even from the cisco press and online manuals, and boy i shed a few tears when he broke it down to pieces.

I also spent some time going to places in Delhi, and the people are very nice and polite. Some people would come up and ask where I came from, hope i was enjoying myself and welcome me to India. The Indians seem very proud of their country - Patiotism, which in my opinion is lacking nowadays among many people.

The only down side I didn't really enjoy is when some people ( i believe mainy the less privileged class) is that the just stand in frnt of you and keep staring at you. - My remedy after a while, was to stare back at them and then they would burst into laughter - bless them !!

On the all, I had a very nice time and met lots of people from around the world, also be careful with what you eat. My advice is to stick to what you are used to.

Anyway I passed all my exams, so I left India with my new certifications, and once again taken to tee airport by koenig. It was really a good experience and I will probably go out there again (although Goa next time).
