I first attended Koenig Solutions in 2010 and did CEH and ECSA courses in Dehradun. I enjoyed the training, and the whole experience of travelling to, and staying in India.
In 2011, I decided to attend a CISSP CBK revision class. In the UK, a CISSP CBK residential course was very expensive, but then I noticed Koenig Solutions had started teaching this course. I made contact and the efficient Koenig administration kicked in.
The CISSP course was only for 5 days in Delhi, so I decided to add 9 day training in Upgrade from MCSE 2003 to Windows Server 2008 course to make the journey to India worthwhile. Within a few days the details for my trip had been confirmed, and a few weeks later I was back in India. I started with Windows Server 2008 training in Koenig Shimla and enjoyed the training and the mountain location greatly. I then travelled to Delhi to start the CISSP course.
Once again the travel arrangements with Koenig were flawless and I arrived in a Koenig Student Apartment in Delhi the day before the course started. I prefer the Koenig Student Apartment as they allow you to get to know the housekeeper, and a small number of fellow students quite well in a short period of time. My apartment was about 10 minutes Koenig car ride to the training centre. Delhi was noisy and hot compared to the other location I'd trained in, but the training centre and the apartments have air conditioning so the learning environment is fine.
I had done a lot of preparation at home before attending the Koenig CISSP revision class, which was good because the class is very intensive and covers the material very quickly. The instructor knew the syllabus inside out, but he had written the Koenig CISSP course himself!
I was very impressed with my instructor knowledge especially when I asked questions and when we delved into other areas. His explanations clarified a number of areas that I struggled with at home, and I was left feeling confident that I had grasped the key issues, knew how to focus the rest of my own studies, and had a strategy for preparing for the exam.
For less than the price of a 5 day CISSP course in the UK, I travelled to India for 3 weeks of training, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. A few weeks later, back in the UK, I sat for the CISSP exam, and passed.
Thanks to my trainer!
