I would recommend doing a training course with Koenig Solutions to any IT professional, or if you want become an IT professional, as they offer a wide range of courses and the training is second to none...
Hi my name is Lee Hill, from the UK. i have been working in IT for approximately 1 ½ years, as a system administrator for a company called Plumbworld.co.uk, they decided to send me and a colleague for some training in India, with Koenig Solutions.
Before arriving to India for my training, i didn’t really know what to expect. This was a whole new experience for me and my colleague, and the first training trip we had ever been on. i was expecting for there to be some language barrier between my trainer and myself, but i soon discovered this was very very rarely the case.
From first arriving in India, we were taken care of in every aspect of the trip. There was a representative from Koenig waiting at arrivals, he helped us with our bags, as we were training in Shimla he escorted us to the bus station where we jumped on the coach and travelled up to Shimla. A piece of advice about travelling to Shimla, if you don’t like long journeys get the train or flight, as we were travelling for almost 36 hours in total (from home in UK to apartments in Shimla).
The training itself was excellent. My trainer, excelled in the knowledge of the course I was doing, MCSA 2003. Also he had a lot of knowledge about other subjects that weren’t to do with my course, and by him giving explanations of these things helped me understand aspects of my course that i didn’t understand. Before coming on the training course, i had a good practical knowledge of a lot of my course, but my concepts were unclear and very fragmented. He helped me to understand the concepts very clearly, through the style of teaching, diagrams and very good spoken English. When it came to taking exams he was always there to prepare me for the exam, giving me practice exams and helping me with the practice questions, if i didn’t understand the question then he would explain and help me with understanding the reason for the answer.
The relationship with my trainer developed very quickly and this meant that he adapted his teaching style to my learning style, so that i understood concepts and methods a lot quicker. We also developed a good friendship and he told me were i could buy certain things, places to go and things to do.
The staff at Koenig were very helpful and were always prepared to help with anything that needed to be arranged or needed doing.
The training centre was very clean; there were no issues with the hardware that was supplied for the training. Through the centre you quickly develop friends and someone has always got a suggestion of where to go, or what to do on your day off, that is if you’re not studying! My colleague and i stayed at the Combermere Hotel, which was excellent in the way of food and hospitality, the staff were very accommodating.
I would recommend doing a training course with Koenig Solutions to any IT professional, or if you want become an IT professional, as they offer a wide range of courses and the training is second to none. Be prepared to study hard though as the courses are very intensive and you do not have lot of free time to yourself, but i came here to learn, and become an MSCA. I have come away from the trip with so much more. Training in India, with Koenig Solutions is a life experience.
