I am Kees van Sante from the Netherlands and would like to tell you about my experiences from my first visit in India and the courses I did in Delhi from February 27 till now.
After my 2 years sitting home after an infected surgery and became disabled, I had to find a way to get my life on track again.
I already did some PHP and web design, and really loved, and wanted to know more about it, but all available courses that I found was too expensive.
Finally I found Koenig Solutions and decided to give it a try in September 2009, but had to cancel that because of another surgery.
I had a lot of email and phone discussions with Dirk Preat, he is the Belgian Representative of Koenig Solutions and he kept me updated about the available courses and prices. The information he sent to us made me feel convinced that I made the right choice which was going in February.
I arrived to Delhi on the 27th of February, after a 9 hours delay I had to go to my first training, CompTia A+, which was fast track, and normally took 5 days, but I managed to get passed for both the exams in just 3 days, even when I did not feel ok because of the jetlag.
I had very good teachers, which spoke perfectly understanding English, so the next courses CIW Master Web Design, Adobe Flash Expert went so smoothly, that I even booked 4 more exams, because my last course is a master class LAMP, which also includes Linux, so Linux+ exam would be logical to do, and in the CIW Master Web Design we worked a lot with Photoshop and Dreamweaver, so did those exams as well.
Thank You to my Trainers, because of them I feel more confident in the IT world!
I will strongly recommend others who are interested in attending training in India to make it come true. You will find it stimulating both to going to a country that differs from what we are used to in Europe, and will love the small things again at home, just because you have experienced another life which can show a lot of differences.
I met of lot of new friends here, and my social network is impressive now.
And you will get superb treatment both from Koenig, the apartment care keepers and from the people in India.
P.S. I suggest you not to take too much clothing, the prices here, compared to Europe, are 5 time less, so a tailor made suit would cost you not more than 45 euros
