End to End Microsoft Business Intelligence From SQL 2008R2 to SharePoint 2010;;MCITP: Database Developer: SQL Server 2008
02 Jan to 25 Jan 2012
If there was one thing I would like to take back home, it would be the time I have spent here. I will certainly come back to Koenig Solutions at Goa for future trainings and I will definitely recommend anyone who wants/needs an IT training...
After arriving here in Goa, I was apprehensive about what I'd let myself in for. It is a natural instinct for someone who had never travelled to a developing country before but within five minutes, after I entered the Koenig training centre, my worries were gone. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, nothing was troublesome. At the Koenig Student Apartment, you will be well looked and their rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The food at the apartment is excellent, freshly made and varied and it is good to sit down with the other students and discuss the day's training, and make friends from all over the world. You will be so well looked here that you can utterly relax and just concentrate on the training and exams. You need not to worry about the day to day things; all would be taken care of. If you need a case of beer or crave some chocolate, they will fetch it for you.
The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and very capable. If you need an extra day's tuition, it's no trouble to sort it out. The refreshing thing was they were very honest. If they think you are struggling or if you know more than enough about a subject, they'll tailor the lesson around you as an individual. The class numbers are very small, often 1-on-1. The MCITP: Database Developer: SQL Server 2008, MCITP SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Developer and End to End Microsoft Business Intelligence from SQL 2008R2 to SharePoint 2010 courses and exams I have done here would have been unaffordable to me in the UK. Here it includes flights, accommodation, food etc. it still works out about a third of the cost of similar courses in the UK (and that's just the course costs in the UK, accommodation, travel and food would be extra).
Panjim is such a vibrant and colorful city and like rest of the India, it seems rather chaotic and an utter contradiction of itself. Be sure to spend time to see some of the sites and beaches nearby. Transport can be arranged and is very reasonably priced, as is everything here.
I'm here from January till early February. The temperature was approx. 350C during the day and 220C at night. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby for the evening (The Vivanti hotel across the road from the Koenig training centre is close and convenient and reasonably priced for a beer or for food), and the main tourist beaches are only 3-4 hour's taxi ride away. (The Koenig Student Apartment staff will arrange reliable taxi drivers, and they are very reasonably priced and very friendly).
If there was one thing I would like to take back home, it would be the time I have spent here. I will certainly come back to Koenig Solutions at Goa for future trainings and I will definitely recommend anyone who wants/needs an IT training. It's a life experience as well as a practical training, and that's something UK training companies just can't compete with.
