My name is Anane, originally born in Ghana but since some 30 years resident and a citizen of Germany.

I would like to inform you with pleasure of my impressions from Goa and the Koenig Boot Camp. I first attended the Koenig Boot Camp in New Delhi in September 2010, where I got the first impressions about Koenig Solutions and where I first got acquainted with India friends, especially my trainer who deserves a special mention.

I was very impressed about the hospitalities of the people of India, The Koenig staff, the drivers, the care takers in the various apartments and then fellow students coming from all over the globe.

I have been working since 1987 as an Application Developer in different fields using UNIX, SAP, etc. and now heading towards the end of my career at the age of 59, I thought it’s the appropriate time to get some certifications which may help support my living after retirement.

In September 2009, I started searching the web for a cost-effective IT course which is first affordable, second effective and interesting. There are many boot camps here in Germany, but they are very, very expensive. The German weather in winter is also not very friendly. The first choice fell on India. There are many flights from Germany to India, either from Frankfurt, with Air India (Non-Stop flight) to Delhi or with Condor to Goa. Just imagine, the flight from Frankfurt to Goa with Condor is ranging between 400 and 500 Euros.

My impressions from Delhi where I got MCSA Certification within 4 weeks were very positive. You can study and make excursion in a group of 7 students, we got a free Van, plus driver, plus gas for the whole day free and there are a lot to see in Delhi.

With all the memories, I flew again to Goa in February 2011 to Upgrade from MCSA 2003 to MCITP: Server Administrator, when the winter in Europe was no more tolerable. The weather in Goa was between 30° and 35° C. The Koenig Student Apartments are some 800 meters from the beach and you can feel this sea breeze with a chilled bear in a bear garden and watch the India acrobatic drivers.

You must get yourself acquainted with the Koenig Apartments since they are not of European standards. All the same the rooms are quit clean, tidy equipped with air conditions, ventilators, televisions, a double bed, a wardrobe with safe. The best of all is - you have a “personal cook” whom you have personal contact and believe me the Indian food, the hospitality is not comparable to the loneliness what we are used to in Western Europe.

The tutors or instructors in Koenig Goa are first class. I will like to use the opportunity to praise my Instructors who spend so much time, so much energy, a wave of enthusiasm and their ability of explanation. Once again Thank You very, very much for helping me achieve my aim in Goa. I will always remember you.

Goa is a very nice Indian City with a lot of tourists, and tourist attractions. The living standards as compared to Germany are very affordable. Imagine chattering a taxi for the whole day for just 20€, including local driver who will take you everywhere … to Hindu Temples, Churches, museums, beaches, Saturday night markets, etc. You do not have to join the mass; you just make an individual holiday, at your own pace, what you really want to see not what you should see.

In addition, Goa is well known for her beaches. Miramar Beach is a small beach in Panaji very quietly in comparison to Anjuna Beach or Baga Beach. The Goa-Center manager a kind, respectful and a helpful lady organized my Taxi trip for me… my special thanks to you! The service was excellent and above all payable. Simply ask the management of the Koenig training center – they make everything for you … Very great!

All in all:

The usual question after such IT course participation is, ‘’Would you come back again?“ Certainly, I would come again. And if you are interested in IT training where you can get fun, holiday, 100 percent passing chances, beautiful teachers then the way should lead you to Koenig in Goa.
